The ideal candidate owns features end-to-end, designs scalable distributed systems, and collaborates with Product and Engineering leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior-level experience in software engineering with strong depth in Python and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to own technical features from design through production with minimal supervision.
• Experience deploying on AWS and building production frontend apps in React.

Responsibilities

• Craft client code that is efficient, testable, scalable, secure, and high-quality.
• Work in an AI-driven development workflow using spec-driven development and AI assistants.
• Ensure code security via SCA and lead remediation efforts.
• Provide status, estimates, and documentation for projects.
• Design and implement scalable AI/workflow capabilities with reliability and observability.
• Contribute to frontend features in React and backend services on AWS.
