Job summary

Amazon's People eXperience & Technology (PXT) team is seeking an experienced engineer to lead architecture and build AI-powered HR platform features at scale. You will own design decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product teams to align technical strategy with business goals.

You will design integrations with HR systems, ensure security/compliance, and drive reliability while advancing three-year architectural plans and cross-team initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and development of scalable platform features.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish coding standards and best practices.
• Architect and implement AI-powered solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Design robust integration patterns between HR systems with data security and compliance.
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
