Job summary

wti-labs is seeking a hands-on senior software engineer to turn AI-built prototypes into secure production systems. You will own production readiness across Node.js (TypeScript), React fronts, and PostgreSQL backends, connecting to Databricks and Snowflake while safeguarding data.

You will design APIs and data pipelines, deploy open-weight LLMs on GPU servers, monitor performance, and document architectures for scale. 6+ years of experience and strong cloud/Linux skills are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering with ownership of production systems.
• Strong Node.js backend experience with TypeScript and API design.
• Proven React experience building production front ends.
• Deep PostgreSQL expertise including schema design and migrations.
• Hands-on Databricks experience (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Databricks SQL).
• Hands-on Snowflake experience (Snowpark, secure views, RBAC).

Responsibilities

• Take apps built quickly with AI coding tools and make them production-ready: architecture, authentication, testing, observability, and CI/CD.
• Connect Node, React, and Postgres applications securely to Databricks and Snowflake, respecting governance and access controls.
• Design APIs and data pipelines moving data between Postgres and Databricks or Snowflake with full audit trail.
• Deploy and operate open-weight LLMs on GPU servers using vLLM or similar inference engines.
• Build batch and real-time pipelines that run LLM extraction, classification and summarization over large datasets.
• Keep sensitive data inside controlled environments with network isolation, encryption, secrets management and audit logging.
• Monitor GPU utilization, throughput, latency, and cost; right-size infrastructure as workloads grow.
• Set standards for production-ready AI prototypes and document architecture for reuse.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership and data teams to align with enterprise data governance.
