Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer in Atlanta to lead a platform that supports multiple product teams across claims, payments, and health services. You will own the platform from model gateway to shared services, ensuring governance and scalable, compliant infrastructure.

You will drive adoption of frontier AI capabilities, manage a team of engineers, and shape the engineering standards for the organization as a whole.

Qualifications

• A track record leading platform or infrastructure teams that ran production systems for multiple product teams.
• Hands-on credibility in modern AI infrastructure: LLM inference and serving, model gateways, vector search.
• Frontier research fluency: translating post-training and RL work into engineering strategy.
• Cloud platform depth (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with Kubernetes and IaC at production scale.
• Experience delivering in a regulated industry, ideally financial services.
• A platform-as-product mindset with emphasis on adoption and developer research.
• Daily, hands-on use of AI coding assistants in your own work.

Responsibilities

• Define the platform's strategic vision, roadmap, and end-to-end lifecycle.
• Lead adoption strategy and governance for platform services and workflows.
• Ensure compliance posture with model risk docs, audit trails, and responsible-AI practices.
• Grow the platform group and set engineering standards for the organization.
• Balance product-team requests with platform quality and strategic initiatives.
