Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to own the AI tooling estate and lifecycle, from discovery and onboarding to upgrades and retirement. You will automate provisioning, enforce policies, and manage visibility into costs and compliance across the model gateway and Copilot-related services.

The role requires deep cloud engineering experience, strong automation skills, and the ability to translate regulatory needs into concrete controls while collaborating across AI

Qualifications

• Five+ years in platform/software engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Cloud experience with Azure; IaC, CI/CD, RBAC, and secret management.
• Experience with LLM APIs or AI platforms and governance.
• Tenant-scale admin of enterprise SaaS with license/entitlement management.
• Vendor management including licensing, renewals, and cost control.
• Ability to translate security, privacy, risk, and audit needs into technical controls.
• Strong ownership, structure, and accountability through production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and operate the AI tooling estate across platforms and services.
• Own the lifecycle of AI tools from discovery to onboarding, upgrades, and retirement.
• Automate provisioning, policy enforcement, and evidence collection via APIs and IaC/CI-CD.
• Provide L2 support, runbooks, and escalation to vendors or Central Technology.
