Arcadia is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build an enterprise AI platform in an onsite Midtown NYC setting. You will own major product areas, design durable AI workflows, and work directly with customers to translate workflows into scalable software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with backend/platform/infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Strong CS fundamentals and technical foundation.
• Experience building backend systems like distributed pipelines, transactional systems, or workflow engines.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Rust; current environment is Python.
• Experience in high-growth/early-stage startup environments.
• Ability to scope ambiguous problems and make architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own a major product or finance domain from problem to production.
• Build AI agent workflows for long-running business processes.
• Design backend systems for ingesting and reconciling data across ERPs and enterprise apps.
• Develop verification, observability, and guardrail systems for auditable AI actions.
• Create durable workflow infrastructure across stateful, third-party systems.
• Design safe, idempotent data integrations with systems of record.
• Collaborate with finance professionals and customers to translate workflows into software.
• Contribute across the stack including AI/LLM pipelines, infrastructure, and product UX.
• Work in small autonomous teams to raise the technical bar across the organization.
