Job summary

Arcadia is a high-growth startup rebuilding data workflows with AI agents to turn messy information into clean, actionable intelligence at scale. We’re seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own the systems powering the AI platform and drive production-ready machine intelligence.

You'll deploy and scale LLMs and AI agents, design and maintain the infrastructure for multi-agent orchestration, and build backend services for high-throughput workloads.

Qualifications

• Startup experience at early- or growth-stage companies.
• 6+ years backend engineering experience; Senior or Staff impact.
• 1+ year experience with LLMs/AI agents in production.
• Deep expertise in distributed and event-driven architectures.
• Strong communication and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, optimize, and scale LLMs and AI agents in production.
• Build infrastructure for multi-agent orchestration across the platform.
• Design, build, and scale backend services and distributed systems for high-throughput, real-time workloads.
• Own reliability, observability, and performance across core backend services.
• Partner with AI/ML and product teams to bring new capabilities from prototype to production.
