Job summary

Aurora is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Corporate Engineering team in Mountain View. You will own a portfolio of SaaS platforms end-to-end, focusing on collaboration and incident management tools, and drive automation, self-service, and AI‑enabled improvements.

You’ll work across identity, lifecycle workflows, and integration points while partnering with Security to ensure safe deployments and scalable solutions. Hybrid in-office work is offered in Mountain View.

Qualifications

• Proven 6+ years in software, systems, or platform engineering with automation experience.
• Strong fundamentals in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript, production-grade automation, and code review in VCS.

Responsibilities

• Own platforms at the architectural level, define strategy and roadmap for the domain.
• Eliminate toil via automation, redesign processes, and self-service tools or AI agents.
• Design and automate identity and lifecycle workflows using APIs, webhooks, SCIM, and IAM tooling.
• Lead platform lifecycle end-to-end as the stack evolves, with phased rollouts and governance.
• Apply AI to enterprise workflows and ensure safe adoption in collaboration with Security.
• Serve as escalation point for the hardest problems and prevent recurring issues.
