Job summary

Aimlroles is seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer to drive the technical vision for our internal AI platform from the St. Petersburg, FL office on a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on scalable architecture, tooling, and developer experience to empower engineers across the firm.

You will lead platform initiatives, ensure reliability and security, review designs, and mentor a distributed team of engineers while collaborating with product leadership to shape the roadmap.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building enterprise-grade software platforms.
• 2+ years implementing AI/LLM powered tooling and agents.
• Experience designing integrations across multiple AI providers and tools.

Responsibilities

• Set the platform architecture for scalable AI tooling.
• Lead and participate in architectural/code reviews for core platform components.
• Mentor engineers and guide cross-team collaboration.
• Drive telemetry, security, and onboarding improvements for the AI platform.
• Partner with product leadership to align roadmap priorities.
