Job summary

Lilly is seeking a senior engineer to own the agentic resolution platform end-to-end, spanning Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and AI/LLM patterns. You will design, implement, and scale production services that deflect routine operational work and improve developer velocity.

You will lead architectural decisions, collaborate with security and reliability teams, and mentor engineers to raise the engineering bar in a regulated, life-sciences environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 7+ years of progressive technology experience with architecture and delivery of automation, AIOps, agentic systems, or cloud-native platforms.
• Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native solutions (Kubernetes, Terraform, AI services) in production.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end agentic resolution platform including intake, classification, action, verification, and human-in-the-loop fallback.
• Build agent runtime and orchestration layer with memory, tool integration, multi-agent coordination, and safe handoffs.
• Define observability, data contracts, and audit-ready posture for durable fixes from upstream teams.
• Design production LLM patterns: prompt engineering, RAG, structured outputs, multi-model routing.
• Own knowledge-base strategy; use incidents to generate training data and retrieval inputs.
