CaptivateIQ is building AI capabilities to transform how enterprises manage sales performance. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Agentic SDK team, guiding the technical roadmap for AI projects across the organization.

You'll work across the stack—from React/TypeScript frontends to Python backends and LLM orchestration systems—setting patterns that other engineers will follow and driving high-impact outcomes for the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with progression into technical leadership.
• Deep proficiency in Python and production backend systems (Django preferred).
• Strong frontend skills with React and TypeScript, including complex state management.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and orchestration systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical roadmap for AI platform initiatives, setting milestones.
• Architect and implement production-grade LLM orchestration systems and agent workflows.
• Design MCP integrations, embedding strategies, and context management.
• Lead technical design for cross-functional AI features and trade-off decisions.
• Establish coding standards and architectural patterns for the team.
• Coach and mentor engineers to grow toward senior-level scope and autonomy.
• Partner with product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
