Job summary

Lilly seeks a senior IC to own the agentic resolution platform end to end, covering the cloud-native substrate and intelligent agents. You’ll shape architecture, implement production code, and set engineering standards for AI-enabled operations.

You will ship platform services, decide tooling, and partner with senior architects to scale agentic intelligence, targeting deflection, toil reduction, platform uptime, and developer velocity within a regulated pharma environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive technology experience with automation and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying agentic AI solutions in production.
• Production experience with LLM patterns: prompt engineering, RAG, multi-model routing.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud AI services (AWS/Azure/Vertex).

Responsibilities

• Own the agentic resolution platform end to end: intake, classification, action execution, verification, and human-in-the-loop fallback.
• Architect and operate Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent) at scale for AI workloads.
• Write production platform services and tooling in Python or Go for provisioning and deployment.
• Define and maintain IaC with Terraform and secure, audit-ready posture.
• Establish observability and guardrails for AI systems using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and enterprise stacks.
• Collaborate with Reliability Engineering and senior architects to scale agentic intelligence.
• Define SLOs/SLIs and drive measurable deflection and toil reduction.
