Job summary

State Street seeks an AI Platform and Ops Lead, AVP, to design, deploy, and operate secure AI platforms across Azure, AWS and private cloud. You will lead platform services, automation, and governance to deliver production‑ready AI solutions for enterprise use cases.

The role partners with business, security, architecture, and risk teams to ensure resiliency, observability, and compliance while driving continuous improvement and platform standards across global teams.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, SRE/DevOps, or MLOps.
• Experience designing and operating Azure, AWS, or private cloud environments with security controls.
• Proficiency with automation languages (PowerShell, Python, shell) and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and day-to-day operations of enterprise AI platform environments across Azure, AWS, and private cloud.
• Configure and operationalize cloud services including VMs, networks, databases, and AI/ML studios.
• Build automation scripts, IaC patterns, and CI/CD pipelines for controlled production releases.
• Apply native cloud services to meet security, resiliency, observability, and compliance needs.
• Drive IAM, configuration management, monitoring, incident response, and platform readiness for AI workloads.
• Collaborate across business, security, data, architecture, and risk teams to deliver reliable AI operations patterns.
• Support platform governance, documentation, onboarding, and continuous improvement of AI platform operations.
• Contribute to platform standards and service onboarding processes.
