Job summary

State Street seeks an AWS Federated Platform Operations Lead to define the future cloud operating model and drive AI-enabled operations across enterprise scale. You will partner with Platform Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Enterprise Operations to deliver reliable, secure, and automated cloud services for critical workloads.

The role emphasizes governance, observability, and automation, with a leadership mandate to transform operations and reduce risk across the AWS Federated platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 12+ years in cloud/platform engineering, reliability engineering, or related.
• 5+ years of leadership in large-scale tech organizations.
• Deep AWS enterprise experience, preferably in regulated industries.
• Experience leading operational transformation and cross-functional change.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Cloud Operations Strategy for AWS Federated.
• Lead transformation to AI-powered operations with autonomous capabilities.
• Drive reliability engineering and platform resilience with SRE practices.
• Define observability and operational intelligence strategy across domains.
• Accelerate automation and platform productivity through Operations-as-Code and self-service.
