State Street is seeking an AI Platform and Ops Lead (AVP) to design, deploy, and operate secure AI platforms across Azure, AWS, and private cloud. You will drive automation, IAM, observability, and governance while partnering with security, risk, data, and business teams to enable reliable, production‑ready AI solutions for enterprise use cases.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as an IT professional in cloud engineering or similar roles.
• Experience designing and operating Azure, AWS, or private cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and day‑to‑day operations of enterprise AI platform environments across cloud and private cloud.
• Configure and operationalize cloud services including VNet, Kubernetes, VMs, secrets, storage, databases, and AI/ML studios.
• Build automation scripts, pipelines, and runbooks for scalable production releases.
• Apply security, resiliency, observability, and compliance requirements for AI platforms.
• Drive IAM, monitoring, incident response, and platform readiness strategies.
• Collaborate with application, data, risk, cyber, architecture, and business teams.
• Support production readiness reviews, disaster recovery, and governance controls.
• Contribute to platform standards and continuous improvement of AI platform operations.
