Job summary

Informa TechTarget is seeking a Principal AI Platform Architect to define and build the next generation of our AI platform and cloud-native ecosystem. This senior technical leader will design scalable, secure platforms enabling AI-powered products and modern software development across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with cloud-native apps, APIs, event-driven systems, and agentic AI capabilities, collaborating with product leadership and engineering to set architectural

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering enterprise software platforms
• Strong GCP expertise and AI capabilities
• Experience building production AI platforms with LLMs and orchestration
• Experience with eval loops for monitoring AI systems
• Event-driven architecture and API-first design
• Security/governance knowledge incl. responsible AI practices
• Python proficiency; familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native tools
• Excellent communication and cross-team influence skills

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable AI platform supporting LLMs and agentic workflows
• Establish architectural standards for AI governance and security
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform
• Define platform patterns for microservices, events, and APIs
• Build CICD pipelines deploying to the cloud and integrating legacy systems
• Provide architecture guidance and governance across engineering teams
• Balance strategic vision with hands-on implementation
• Enable teams to add new components within the platform
• Within your first year, establish architectural vision and reusable patterns
• Improve scalability, observability, and governance of the platform
