Job summary

Informa TechTarget is seeking a Principal AI Platform Architect to define and build our next-generation AI platform and cloud-native ecosystem. The role leads design for scalable, secure, and observable platforms enabling AI-powered products and automated workflows across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist with deep cloud-native experience, API-first design, and governance. You will partner with product leadership, engineering teams, and executives to set

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering enterprise software platforms at scale
• Strong GCP expertise with Vertex AI and AI capabilities
• AI platform experience building production systems with agentic frameworks, LLMs, and orchestration
• Experience in eval loops in production for monitoring and tuning AI systems
• Event-driven architecture and distributed systems with microservices and APIs; platform security and governance knowledge
• Proficiency in Python; experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native tools
• Excellent communication to influence technical direction across engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable AI platform supporting LLMs and agentic workflows
• Establish architectural standards for AI governance and security
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform for enterprise workloads
• Define platform patterns for microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first design
• Build CI/CD pipelines deploying to the cloud and interfacing with legacy systems
• Provide architecture guidance and governance across engineering teams
• Balance strategic vision with hands-on implementation to gain engineering trust
• Enable teams to add components and functionalities within the platform
