Job summary

Informa TechTarget seeks a Principal AI Platform Architect to define and build the next generation of our AI platform and cloud-native application ecosystem. You will lead the design of scalable, secure, and observable platforms enabling AI-powered products across the organization.

The role requires hands-on technologist with deep cloud-native experience, API-first thinking, and strong governance. Collaboration with product leadership and engineering is essential to set architectural direction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering enterprise software platforms at scale.
• Strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise, Vertex AI preferred.
• Experience building AI platforms with agentic frameworks, LLMs, and orchestration.
• Experience creating production eval loops for monitoring and tuning AI systems.
• Event-driven architectures, microservices, APIs.
• Security/governance knowledge, including responsible AI practices.
• Python proficiency plus Kubernetes and Docker.
• Excellent cross-team communication to influence technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable AI platform supporting LLMs and federated development across teams.
• Establish architectural standards for AI governance, security, evaluation strategies, and operational excellence.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform for enterprise-scale workloads.
• Define platform patterns for microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first design.
• Build CI/CD pipelines that deploy to the cloud while interfacing with legacy systems.
• Provide architecture guidance and governance across engineering teams through reviews and standards.
• Balance strategic platform vision with hands-on implementation to gain engineering respect.
• Enable teams to add new components, agents, and capabilities within the platform.
