Informa TechTarget in Massachusetts is seeking a Principal AI Platform Architect to define and build the next generation of our AI platform and cloud-native application ecosystem. This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for designing scalable, secure, and resilient platforms that enable AI-powered products, intelligent automation, and modern software development across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering enterprise software platforms with proven success at scale.
• Strong GCP expertise- deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform services, semantics, and AI capabilities (Vertex AI preferred)
• AI platform experience building production systems that support product use cases, including agentic frameworks, LLMs, and orchestration
• Evaluation strategy experience- particularly building eval loops in production for monitoring and tuning AI systems (highly preferred)
• Event-driven architecture and distributed systems expertise with understanding of microservices and APIs
• Platform security and governance knowledge, including responsible AI practices
• Python proficiency(primary language for AI development), plus experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native tools
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence technical direction across multiple engineering organizations

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable AI platform supporting LLMs, agentic workflows, and federated development across multiple teams
• Establish architectural standards for AI governance, security, evaluation strategies, and operational excellence
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform supporting enterprise-scale workloads
• Define platform patterns for microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first design
• Build CICD pipelines that deploy automatically to the cloud while interfacing with legacy systems
• Provide architecture guidance and governance across engineering teams through reviews and standards
• Balance strategic platform vision with hands-on implementation to earn respect from engineering teams
• Enable teams to add new components, agents, and functionalities within the overarching platform
