EY seeks a senior Platform Architect to lead the Challenger AI platform initiative across cloud, hybrid, and edge environments. You will own the platform vision, guide architecture, and drive durable patterns that balance performance, resilience, and cost while aligning with executive stakeholders.

In this high-impact role, you will mentor engineers, shape production patterns, and enable secure, observable, and scalable AI workloads with a focus on real-world trade-offs and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Extensive experience designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, SRE, or platform capabilities with production AI workloads.
• Proven track record building a shared platform adopted by multiple product teams.

Responsibilities

• Set the platform direction with AI platform vision, reference architecture, and roadmap.
• Run the platform as a product, defining service tiers and measuring adoption.
• Enable portable model access with gateways, routing, and stable contracts.
• Architect elastic foundations for AI workloads across compute, storage, and network.
• Automate delivery with repeatable patterns and progressive release.
• Define trusted agent runtimes with secure execution and governance.
• Engineer for reliability with observability, SRE, and recovery patterns.
• Make economics visible by linking usage, performance, and quality signals.
• Guide build-versus-buy and portability decisions with cross-functional partners.
• Build capability by mentoring engineers and turning emerging tech into reusable patterns.
