Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Architect for the Architecture Steering Committee to shape an Agentic Enterprise across Informatica (IDMC) and the Salesforce ecosystem. This hands-on role designs systems, writes code, and mentors engineers while aligning cross-functional teams with standards.

You will define principles, roadmaps, and review gates, ensure security, scalability, and cost optimization, and communicate feedback through blogs, talks, and internal newsletters.

• 12 years building SaaS applications and platforms.
• Proven track record as an architectural decision-maker.
• Strong cross-team collaboration and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable AI and data-management products—hands-on from design through production.
• Serve as a final architectural authority and reviews gate decisions while enforcing standards.
• Define technical direction, roadmaps, and ensure alignment with security, cloud infra, and cost optimization.
• Be accountable for software architecture across enterprise capabilities and scalability.
• Mentor fellow architects and senior engineers and drive thought leadership through blogs, papers, and industry presentations.
• Communicate architectural decisions and golden-path standards through newsletters and AMA sessions.
• Partner with Dev, QA, PM, and UX to ensure features meet business and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and engage with customers as needed.
