Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to join a compact product team building an AI‑powered, autonomous accounting platform for very small businesses and the accountants serving them. You will own features end‑to‑end across backend, data, and customer‑facing surfaces, with a strong focus on shipping reliable AI‑driven workflows inside a live production product.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of commercial full‑stack software development experience.
• Backend skills in Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
• Frontend experience with React and Next.js, including SSR, SSG, and App Router.
• Designing and building REST APIs, with GraphQL as a plus.
• PostgreSQL data modeling and query optimization.
• Unit and integration testing using Jest or Vitest.
• Hands-on CI/CD and containerization with Docker, plus cloud experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Practical LLM experience covering APIs, tool calling, streaming, prompting, or agent workflows.
• Daily use of AI-native development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code, including verifying and refactoring AI-generated code.
• Self-reliant ownership from analysis through deployment, with the ability to make and justify architectural decisions.
• NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis (nice to have).
• Building AI features like RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering, or agents (nice to have).
• End-to-end testing with Playwright or Cypress (nice to have).
• Microservices or monorepo experience with Nx or Turborepo (nice to have).
• Cloud certifications, ORM familiarity, or applied GenAI inside the SDLC (nice to have).
