Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with regulated clients, delivering end-to-end outcomes.

You will own delivery, write production-grade code (LangGraph, Python), and collaborate with platform, security, and governance teams to ensure safe-to-ship implementations in production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps.
• Practical experience with modern AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code in compliance, performance and reliability contexts.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and integrations using approved platform capabilities.
• Write and review production-grade code (LangGraph, Python, orchestration layers).
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timeline with defensible tradeoffs.
• Ensure security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints with control authorities.
• Capture field learnings and improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to enable repeatable delivery.
