Job summary

Global Technology Services is seeking an AI-Native Software Engineer to build scalable backend systems using Node.js and modern data technologies. You will work on distributed architectures and contribute to AI-powered capabilities, including MCP integrations.

The role emphasizes backend development with a strong foundation in REST APIs, databases, and event-driven patterns. Collaboration across teams and adapting to high-volume transactions is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong professional backend software development experience.
• Hands-on Node.js/JavaScript or TypeScript; Python/Java/C# acceptable.
• Experience designing distributed systems and microservices.
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming tech.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or similar.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis.
• Experience designing REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Strong understanding of architecture, scalability, concurrency, reliability.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms with high-volume transactions.
• Understanding of AI/LLM concepts and AI integration.
• Familiarity with AI agents, tools, context, orchestration, MCP.
