Global Technology Services in Long Beach, CA seeks a Senior AI Application Engineer to build modern web apps with React, Node.js and TypeScript. You will contribute to AI-driven software initiatives, including AI agents and MCP, designing scalable APIs and distributed services.
The ideal candidate has extensive full-stack experience, e-commerce familiarity, and strong CI/CD practices for high-performance systems.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering with full-stack focus.
- Hands-on React, Node.js, and TypeScript experience.
- Design and build RESTful APIs and distributed services.
- Experience with low-latency, high-throughput APIs.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems.
- Design of scalable microservices and API performance considerations.
- Experience in e-commerce platforms and related domains.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, testable code, and code quality practices.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and MCP concepts.
