Job summary

ActAI is seeking a Manager of Technical Recruiting to own the global technical recruiting function and build the engineering and AI teams needed to scale the company.

You will lead searches for senior roles, design recruiting strategy, and partner with founders and engineering leaders to set hiring bars and processes. You will coach a high-performing team and use data to improve quality, speed, and outcomes across US, Europe and Asia.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in recruiting, with deep experience hiring software engineering, AI/ML or other highly technical talent.
• Proven track record building and leading technical recruiting for high-growth tech companies while staying hands-on with critical searches.
• Strong understanding of engineering and AI talent markets; can assess substance and relevance of highly technical profiles.
• Demonstrated success hiring senior engineers, technical leaders and scarce talent through proactive headhunting.
• Experience building, managing and raising performance of technical recruiting teams.
• Ability to work with founders and engineering leaders, translate priorities into executable hiring plans.
• Clear accountability for hiring outcomes and fast execution speed.

Responsibilities

• Own technical hiring across ActAI, covering AI/ML, backend, infrastructure, web, mobile and engineering leadership.
• Build recruiting strategy, team structure, hiring priorities and cadence to meet company goals.
• Lead searches for critical and senior hires from market mapping to offers and closing.
• Set standards for candidate quality based on technical contribution and relevance, not titles or keywords.
• Partner with engineering leadership to define hiring bars, target profiles and interview processes.
• Build and coach a high-performing recruiting team; improve pipelines, sourcing, assessment and candidate management.
• Use recruiting data to identify bottlenecks and continuously improve hiring quality, speed and conversion.
• Develop scalable recruiting processes and talent networks across US, Europe and Asia.
