Job summary

ACTAI is seeking a Head of Technical Recruiting to own the global engineering recruiting function and build AI/ML and software teams for scale.

You will lead critical searches, shape the recruiting strategy and partner with founders and leaders to define hiring bars, interview processes and decisions. You will coach a high-performing team and expand networks across the US, Europe and Asia.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting experience hiring software engineering, AI/ML or other highly technical talent.
• Proven track record building and leading technical recruiting for a high-growth tech company while staying hands-on.
• Strong understanding of engineering and AI talent markets and candidate evaluation beyond titles.

Responsibilities

• Own technical hiring across ActAI, including AI/ML, backend, infrastructure, web, mobile and engineering leadership.
• Build recruiting strategy, team structure, hiring priorities and operating cadence to meet goals.
• Lead searches for critical senior hires from market mapping to offer negotiation and closing.
• Set standards for candidate quality based on actual contribution and complexity.
• Partner with engineering and leaders to define hiring bars, profiles, interview processes and decisions.
• Build and coach a high-performing recruiting team and improve sourcing and assessment.
• Use data to identify bottlenecks and improve hiring quality, speed and conversion.
• Build scalable recruiting processes and talent networks across US, Europe, and Asia.
