Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Software Engineer (AI/ML Ops) to join our Automation Team in San Francisco. You will embed value-added AI into manufacturing systems, partnering with automation engineers to deploy scalable models.

You will work with data scientists and software engineers to deliver robust, secure ML solutions, monitor performance, and continuously improve deployment processes for safe, high-quality spaceflight manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying ML models into production environments.
• Ability to design and manage scalable ML pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for seamless deployment of ML models into automation products.
• Complete operational aspects of AI/ML projects ensuring robust deployment.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for data processing, model training, and inference at scale.
• Set up monitoring to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of ML models in production.
• Automate end-to-end ML pipeline including data collection, preprocessing, training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and software engineers to streamline development to production.
• Ensure AI/ML systems comply with security standards and data privacy practices.
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting to reduce latency.
