Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced software professional to sustain and advance an internal AI platform used across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain. You will own maintenance, triage feedback, and upgrade capabilities while ensuring accuracy and reliability.

The role requires deep knowledge of AI/ML, production systems, and leadership to mentor partner teams and deliver scalable AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development with AI/ML in production.
• Experience owning production software through sustaining lifecycle (on-call or user support).
• Experience building/operating LLM-based or agentic applications in production.

Responsibilities

• Own the sustaining engineering and platform maintenance for an internal AI platform.
• Build and maintain AI workflows for engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
• Conduct performance testing and fine-tuning of AI models to ensure robustness.
• Mentor partner development teams and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts to drive data-driven decisions.
