Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Manager in Model Engineering to lead AI workstreams on the Databricks platform, building data pipelines, AI solutions, and semantic models for clients. You will partner with client teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI applications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• 6–10 years of AI, data science, and/or ML experience.
• 2–4 years managing technical teams.
• 3–4 years building and deploying production AI/ML on Databricks, incl. Agent Bricks / Model Serving.
• Databricks Certification (Data Engineer/ML/Generative AI) preferred.
• Strong Python, PySpark and Scala skills; SQL and Delta Lake knowledge a plus.
• Ability to lead diverse, hybrid global teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI workstreams from design to production deployment on Databricks.
• Direct data engineering pipelines and AI solutions (ML, GenAI, Agentic AI) for clients.
• Drive product-centric AI development with measurable business outcomes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, cloud engineers, and stakeholders across geographies.
• Ensure responsible deployment, governance, and observability of AI solutions.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality work on time and budget.
