Job summary

EY seeks a senior Manager in Model Engineering to lead AI workstreams on the Databricks platform, guiding data engineering pipelines and AI solutions across client projects. You will drive production-grade pipelines, governance, and stakeholder collaboration in a hybrid, global team.

You will work with data scientists, engineers, and product partners to define outcomes, roadmap capabilities, and deliver measurable business value while staying ahead of AI trends and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year) in a related field.
• 6–10 years of AI, data science, and/or ML experience.
• 2–4 years of direct managing technical teams.
• 3–4 years building production AI/ML on Databricks; experience with Agent Bricks, Model Serving, Lakeflow Jobs.
• Strong Python, PySpark, or Scala; experience with Databricks tools.
• Excellent communication; travel for client engagements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI workstreams from design to production deployment on Databricks.
• Manage teams delivering data pipelines, AI solutions, and supporting pipelines.
• Define user outcomes, prioritize reusable capabilities, and measure adoption.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams; ensure responsible deployment and governance.
• Deliver production-grade data and AI pipelines with domain ontologies and semantic models.
