Job summary

Confido, the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG, seeks a Senior Applied AI / ML Engineer in New York City. You will own AI problems end to end—from research to production—across document understanding, forecasting, and agentic workflows, with a dataset of hundreds of thousands of documents across sources.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied AI/ML, with systems you've taken to production (not just prototypes).
• Depth in one and working fluency across several: time-series/forecasting, LLM/agentic systems, large-scale messy-data engineering.
• You build evaluation/monitoring as a matter of course and know which metric to trust.

Responsibilities

• Build LLM systems that convert complex financial documents into clean, typed data.
• Design agentic workflows to retrieve and reason over fragmented systems.
• Build and improve demand forecasting across thousands of series with backtesting.
• Wrangle messy, real-world data across heterogeneous sources.
• Own evaluation datasets, benchmarks, and monitoring for open-ended systems.
