Job summary

Confido, the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG, is seeking a Senior Applied AI / ML Engineer in New York, NY (relocation supported). You will own AI problems end-to-end—from research to production—across document understanding, forecasting, and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities include building core AI, designing agentic workflows, and delivering robust forecasting with strong evaluation and monitoring in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied AI / ML with production systems.
• Depth in at least one of: time-series/forecasting, LLM/agentic systems, or large-scale messy-data engineering.
• Ability to design evaluation and monitoring and avoid leakage/train-serve skew.
• Strong product sense: translate AI into real outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build core AI behind Confido across document understanding, forecasting, and agentic workflows.
• Design agentic workflows that retrieve and reason over enterprise systems.
• Develop and improve demand forecasting across multiple series with backtesting.
• Wrangle real-world data, perform baselining, outlier detection, and data ingestion.
• Own measurement: eval datasets, benchmarks, monitoring.
