Job summary

Samsara is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to join its supply chain AI team. You’ll define the end-to-end AI transformation roadmap, design and deploy production ML models, and partner across Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Finance, and Hardware teams.

You’ll work on forecasting demand, inventory optimization, and supplier risk using real-time IoT signals, with a focus on scalable, production-grade systems and measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in applied data science or ML, ideally in supply chain, operations research, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, EE, OR, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for supply chain alongside senior stakeholders.
• Design, train, validate, and deploy ML models to production with MLOps practices.
• Build predictive models to forecast demand, inventory, and spend across Samsara's network.
• Mentor junior scientists and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance.
