Job summary

Samsara is building an AI/ML team within its Operations group to create an AI-native supply chain. You will be among the first AI/ML engineers, shaping forecasting, optimization, and anomaly detection across global operations.

This remote role welcomes candidates in the US or Canada and partners with Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Finance, and multiple engineering teams. You’ll own end-to-end ML development, from data features to production deployment, and you’ll mentor others while driving

Qualifications

• 8+ years in applied data science or ML, preferably in supply chain, operations research, logistics, or manufacturing
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, EE, OR, or related field

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for supply chain
• Design, train, validate, and deploy ML models to production (demand forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier risk scoring)
• Mentor junior scientists and collaborate cross-functionally with Ops, Product, and Finance
