Job summary

Samsara Inc. is building an AI/ML team within its Operations group to drive an AI-native supply chain. You will be among the first AI/ML engineers shaping forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier risk scoring, and cash flow analyses using real-time IoT signals.

You will collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Finance, Sales, and hardware/quality teams to deploy production ML solutions that scale to tens of thousands of customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in applied data science or ML in supply chain/operations context.
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, EE, OR, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for supply chain.
• Design, train, validate, and deploy ML models to production with MLOps practices.
• Build predictive models for demand, inventory, supplier risk across Samsara's network.
• Mentor junior scientists and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
