Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Senior Engineer to design, develop, and deploy large-scale distributed AI applications that power customer self-service across voice, IVR, and chat channels.

You will build multi-agent systems for intelligent automation, collaborate with engineering, product, and data science teams, and ensure system reliability and performance in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in Python/Java/C++, Azure/AWS, and open-source tools is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on proficiency with modern AI/ML frameworks and tools and programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML models in production environments with focus on scalability and performance.
• Strong software engineering background with expertise in building large-scale distributed systems, preferably in cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
• Experience applying AI/ML to business problems, e.g. NLP, speech, or automation.
• Experience with microservice architectures and REST APIs; automated testing for distributed platforms.
• Ability to build reusable test frameworks for complex workflows across services and channels.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code; scripting in PowerShell is a plus.
• Experience with cloud services, architecture and design, and open-source frameworks.
• 4+ years of professional software development in Python or Java; 4+ years in open-source frameworks; 3+ years in architecture/design.
