Job summary

Intelliforce is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, build, evaluate, and deploy AI/ML solutions across the full lifecycle. You will work on generative AI, agentic systems, and production software engineering, with emphasis on reliability, security, and scalability.

The role involves building AI agents, evaluating models, and developing production pipelines while collaborating with mission stakeholders to translate complex problems into practical technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph; active clearance required.
• U.S. Citizen; visa sponsorship not available.
• 20 years of software engineering on similar programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4 extra years experience).
• 5+ years cloud experience with distributed data technologies.
• Proven production software and AI/ML solutions experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows using large language models.
• Develop LLM-powered applications with tool calling, memory, orchestration, and multi-step workflows.
• Evaluate AI systems for accuracy, latency, cost, and quality.
• Build ML models for prediction, classification, forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Prototype and productionize AI/ML capabilities; monitor and maintain services.
