General Motors is seeking an L6 Data Scientist to lead AI/ML workstreams within Sales, Brand & Dealer, building deep technical expertise under a lead scientist. You will guide methodological direction, contribute to product decisions, and develop high-impact data science solutions.

The role requires 3+ years in advanced analytics with strong Python/SQL skills, experience with Databricks, and the ability to communicate complex results to stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years working in advanced analytics, AI/ML or operations research
• Demonstrated use of innovative methodologies to solve business problems with measurable impact
• Experience across AI/ML and analytics domains (LLMs, forecasting, deep learning, prescriptive & predictive methods)
• Expertise in Python and SQL; proficiency in cloud-based data science platforms (Databricks preferred)
• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Cursor, GitHub and/or Microsoft Copilot, Glean, Databricks Genie, etc.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; MS/PhD or equivalent experience preferred
