Job summary

WRITER is seeking a lead learning experience designer to own a fast-paced track of short, targeted courses (15–45 minutes). You will ship roughly 15 courses per year, tackle needs proactively and reactively, and deliver live and virtual trainings as needed.

You'll partner with product, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to ensure rapid-response learning complements longer curricula and aligns with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field, with demonstrated experience designing and shipping courses at a fast pace.
• Proven ability to design effective learning in compact formats — you know how to scope tight, cut ruthlessly, and deliver high-impact learning in 15–45 minutes.
• Comfort with rapid development cycles and short sprints; you've worked in fast-paced environments and you thrive there
• Strong prioritization and triage skills — you can juggle proactive and reactive work, make tradeoffs, and say no when something doesn't warrant a course.
• Excellent live facilitation skills — you're confident delivering in person and virtually, and engaging for diverse audiences
• Excellent stakeholder management — gather what you need from SMEs and partners quickly, keep things moving
• A portfolio that demonstrates your craft with excerpts showing AI topics and live facilitation

Responsibilities

• Design and build focused, standalone courses — typically 15–45 minutes — in sprints of three weeks or less, shipping roughly 15 courses per year across topics that are specific and targeted.
• Own the full design lifecycle for each course at speed — needs analysis, design, build, QA, and publish — making smart scope decisions.
• Deliver live and virtual training on the topics you build, with excellence — adapting to audience questions and skill levels
• Repurpose content across delivery modes to maximize reach without rebuilding from scratch
• Scan proactively for emerging learning needs by monitoring product changes, customer signals, and internal feedback
• Balance proactive and reactive work, prioritizing speed and relevance over exhaustive perfection
• Partner with product, product marketing, customer-facing teams, and SMEs to gather what you need quickly and keep courses moving
