Job summary

Highrise AI is seeking a Network Engineer to support AI compute infrastructure across multi-site deployments. You will work with frontline NOC, drive automation, and enhance network observability in a hybrid or remote environment.

Applicants should have 5+ years of network infra experience, private cloud exposure, and hands-on scripting skills. Travel to data centers will be required as part of responsibilities.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in CS/Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years managing network infrastructure at scale in 24x7 environments.
• 2+ years in modern private cloud stack environments.
• Solid understanding of VLANs, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, NSX or similar SDN technologies.
• Hands-on scripting for automation and familiarity with basic database concepts.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure as code tools is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Support frontline NOC during work hours and on-call rotation.
• Provide a low-latency response to resolve network faults in production.
• Lead incident management and prevent network-related service impacts.
• Collaborate with NOC and SRE to improve observability and tooling.
• Work with development teams to drive efficiency through automation.
• Create and maintain documentation, standards, and runbooks for production network.
• Drive automation to reduce toil and extend observability in network infrastructure.
• Engage with customers to understand use cases and improve reliability.
• Bring the voice of the customer to product and platform teams.
