Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Staff Operational Readiness Technical Program Manager for AI infrastructure deployment across major North American sites. You will own the last mile of deployments, ensuring clusters are fully ready, documented, and supported before handoff to operations, with governance over evidence, tests and risk items.

The role requires coordinating many owners across engineering, SRE, networking and operations, with up to 50% travel to data centers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure operations, SRE, service transition or technical program management for large-scale data centers or cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience moving new infrastructure into production support, including runbooks, ticketing, escalation and hardware returns.
• Working knowledge of data center and cloud control-plane services: DHCP/PXE, DNS, NTP, PKI, secrets management, identity and access, observability, and asset systems such as NetBox.
• Familiarity with GPU cluster validation evidence and how it maps to customer acceptance.
• Strong coordination skills across engineering, SRE, networking and operations to meet firm dates.
• Clear, concise writing producing customer-signed documents.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational readiness for each GPU cluster deployment from network edge to managed Kubernetes.
• Build the handover package with executive summaries, capacity details, metadata and BOM.
• Lead the formal acceptance process ensuring the operations team can support the cluster from day one.
• Track open items to closure and ensure post-handoff support timelines are met.
• Turn handover learnings into templates for future deployments.
