Job summary

UTHealth Houston is seeking a Senior-Level Project Manager to lead AI governance initiatives within the Enterprise IT team. You will oversee cross-functional, enterprise-level PM activities, interfacing with the Central IT CIO and four governance committees.

You will work on AI-related projects with internal LLMs and external vendors, focusing on approvals, resource routing, and risk mitigation. A PMP is preferred but not required; a strong PM背景 is essential.

Qualifications

• Eight years of IT and team management experience.
• Knowledge of AI governance and information technology governance.
• CAPM or PMP certification preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple complex projects; organize, prioritize, and coordinate work.
• Provide leadership and communication to project teams; monitor performance.
• Coordinate with management, vendors, customers, and IT staff on plans and deliverables.
• Initiate enterprise projects; ensure business need and feasibility; stay current on PM technologies.
• Prepare schedules and reports; communicate status to stakeholders; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Support CIO in enterprise project portfolio management and deployment of added services.
