Job summary

Solv. is seeking a senior product-engineering generalist to shape healthcare AI-powered workflows. You will own technical decisions, work with a PM, and ship end-to-end solutions across frontend, backend, APIs, and data models.

You will drive production quality, governance, and performance while balancing speed and safety in healthcare contexts. Collaboration with customers and cross‑functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Strong senior-level fundamentals across frontend development, backend architecture, APIs, relational database design, testing, performance, and production debugging.
• Take ownership of ambiguous problems: investigate deeply, create clarity, and drive work forward.
• Have built or deeply explored an AI system beyond basic prompting or a thin API wrapper (e.g., a RAG pipeline or AI workflow).
• Explain what you built, why you chose the approach, where it failed, how you evaluated it, and what you learned.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, design, customers, and engineers to ship improvements.
• Build across the full stack, including frontend experiences, backend services, APIs, relational data models, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
• Take ideas from exploration through implementation, production rollout, and iteration.
• Build scrappy prototypes to learn quickly, then develop production systems when proven.
• Improve AI systems using evaluations, production traces, and customer feedback.
• Design for testing, observability, guardrails, fallbacks, auditability, and human escalation.
• Build enterprise healthcare products with privacy, data quality, and reliability considerations.
• Explore new AI capabilities balancing speed, quality, safety, cost, and customer value.
• Use AI development tools while owning technical decisions and production quality.
