Solv Health is hiring a senior product-engineering leader to shape AI-powered healthcare workflows and oversee end-to-end development from frontend to backend. You will collaborate with product, design, and customers to convert problems into shipped improvements, building production-grade systems for scheduling, billing, and care workflows.

The role emphasizes owning technical decisions, delivering high-quality software, and exploring AI capabilities to create measurable patient and business

Qualifications

• Have 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production web applications.
• Strong senior-level fundamentals across frontend development, backend architecture, APIs, relational database design, testing, performance, and production debugging.
• Take ownership of ambiguous problems: investigate, clarify, decide, and drive work forward.
• Built or deeply explored an AI system beyond basic prompting or a thin API wrapper (e.g., RAG pipeline, automation, evaluation system).
• Able to explain what you built, why chosen approach, where it failed, and what you learned.
• Actively explore emerging AI capabilities through hands-on experimentation and identify product value.
• Move quickly without treating prototypes as production-ready.
• Work with product managers and directly engage customers to ship improvements.
• Aim for measurable patient, customer, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, design, customers, and engineers to turn problems into shipped improvements.
• Build across the full stack, including frontend experiences, backend services, APIs, relational data models, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
• Take ideas from exploration through implementation, production rollout, and iteration.
• Build scrappy prototypes to learn quickly, then develop reliable production systems.
• Improve AI systems using evaluations, production data, and customer feedback.
• Design for uncertainty with testing, observability, guardrails, fallbacks, and auditability.
• Build enterprise healthcare products with privacy, data quality, reliability, and supportability.
• Explore new AI capabilities while balancing speed, quality, safety, cost, and value.
• Use AI development tools while owning technical decisions and production quality.
