Job summary

ComPsych is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead an AI‑driven engineering organization across multiple teams responsible for critical health and absence management platforms. You will drive delivery, technical judgment, reliability, and security while shaping practices for AI-enabled software at scale.

You will partner with product and design leaders, define standards, mentor managers, and build teams with high ownership and autonomy to deliver complex customer‑facing experiences.

Qualifications

• Led engineers and managers through scaling an organization across multiple teams.
• Led production engineering across AWS or Azure with observability, SLOs, and incidents.
• Led AI-first engineering practices, delegation, and verification at the org level.
• Managed security, privacy, and regulated data handling with a focus on PHI/HIPAA considerations.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a broad engineering organization with clear accountability.
• Establish a credible delivery system across teams with visible priorities and dependencies.
• Partner with Product and Design leadership on outcomes and execution at the domain level.
• Set engineering standards to enable autonomous teams and strong technical judgment.
• Own health of production systems, signal-based interventions, and reliability improvements.
• Define AI work practices, delegation, review processes, and hiring criteria.
