Job summary

Direct Supply, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development of AI-powered, scalable software and to mentor engineers on AI-first practices.

The role focuses on architecting AI-enhanced systems, ensuring security and performance while integrating capabilities like chatbot assistants and diagnostic tools. You will drive adoption of AI tooling and maintain observability across services, collaborating in an agile environment to deliver high-quality, AI-enabled products for healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related field.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI-powered applications.
• Strong understanding of AI models, cost optimization, and scaling.
• Experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, and production AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers in AI-first development methodologies and best practices.
• Architect and scale AI-enhanced systems for security, scalability, and high performance.
• Integrate AI-driven capabilities such as chatbot assistants and image-based diagnostics into products.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered engineering tools to enhance development efficiency.
• Implement observability and monitoring systems to track AI app performance and reliability.
• Design and optimize AI-driven APIs and microservices for model interaction with apps and data.
