Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Engineer to build production‑grade software with an AI-first approach. You’ll design complex systems where AI agents integrate into human workflows and maintain backend services leveraging LLMs via external APIs.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional Java development experience.
AI-first approach to engineering, using AI to move faster and broaden expertise.
Ability to design, iterate on, and test prompts that produce structured LLM outputs (JSON).
RESTful APIs design and consumption; working knowledge of AWS services.

Responsibilities

Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software with AI as a core part of the development workflow.
Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate into human workflows.
Architect and maintain backend services integrating Large Language Models via external APIs with robust observability.
Critically evaluate code (human or AI-generated) for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
Develop test automation and quality tooling for unit/CI testing.
