Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of AI‑assisted developer tools and platforms. You will own backend APIs, data models, dashboards, and UX that connect AI tool usage to measurable outcomes for engineers and leaders.

You will set technical direction, translate ambiguous requirements into concrete designs, and raise the bar with telemetry, SLIs/SLOs, and robust ownership practices across complex systems.

Qualifications

• At least 6+ years designing and building production software including full‑stack apps, backend services or internal platforms.
• Strong programming across frontend, backend, APIs, data stores, and distributed systems.
• Experience turning ambiguous requirements into design, tests, and delivery plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and delivery of cross‑cutting capabilities across internal developer‑productivity products.
• Build backend APIs, data models, ingestion flows, dashboards, and UIs connecting AI tool usage to outcomes.
• Set technical direction and translate requirements into design specifications and incremental plans.
