Job summary

FloQast is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Accountant to architect and deploy AI Agents that automate complex accounting processes, driving ROI for enterprise customers. You’ll lead transformation engagements, guide workflow redesign, and enable scale across CFO offices while troubleshooting integrations and APIs.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring deep accounting experience and technical prowess.

Qualifications

• Background in accounting/finance with CPA preferred or equivalent.
• Experience evaluating, designing, and deploying automation in accounting/finance.
• Strong SQL, API, and data flow knowledge with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lead sessions with Controllers or Finance teams.
• Collaborates across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operationalize AI Agents to automate accounting processes.
• Lead transformation engagements with enterprise accounting teams.
• Drive adoption by CFOs and Controllers through workflow redesign and change management.
• Troubleshoot integrations, data flows, and automation logic; edit Python and SQL as needed.
• Escalate and resolve complex issues across integrations and APIs.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and AM teams to re-engage at-risk accounts.
• Provide product feedback and contribute to Transform roadmap.
• Oversee implementation partners for consistency and quality.
• Travel up to 60% to customer sites for deployment and training.
